DIY Dish Soap

Updated: Mar 15, 2019

In a world of fairy liquids and individually wrapped washing tabs it's easy to create a large plastic footprint. However, if like me you are trying to cut back on waste in the kitchen then this is a great place to start!

A container of choice (preferably one with a dispenser).

3 cups of castile soap

1.5 cups of distilled water

2-3 tsp of baking soda

10 drops of an essential oil (try to choose a citrus essential oil are they give off a great scent and are known for their antibacterial properties)

This method is SUPER simple.

Pour the castile soap and distilled water into the container of choice.

Then add the essential oils and the baking soda.

Place the lid on firmly and give the container a good mix!
